ANTIQUE SALESMAN SAMPLE GRANITEWARE COFFEE POT
Adorable and rare antique American gray mottled graniteware salesman sample coffee pot measuring 5-3/4" tall. Featuring a lift-up hinged lid with molded finial, it has a pinch nose spout with grounds catch, applied handle with dog ear bracket and molded decorative banding around the base.
Condition is excellent with only a small flake on the edge of the handle exposing the gray underneath - very tiny dots of chipping around the top front of the lid and minute rubbing on the spout and bottom edge - I mention this for accuracy only - coffee pot is extremely clean - interior is as shiny as the exterior and it does not appear to have ever been used. Bearing the L&G Manufacturing Company mark on bottom forLalance & Grosjean Co., a prolific manufacturer of all things enamel, it is just the most wonderful, petite size - lovely addition to any graniteware collection or salesman sample display!
