Heubach figures and dolls have become so popular, and with their sensitivemodeling and artful painting, it is easy to see why.It is because of their desirability that many other bisque figurines have come to be called and sold as\"Heubachs\" when indeed they are not. However, the seasoned collector will easily recognize the workmanship and styleof this prestigious firm, even when pieces are not marked, which can often be the case.Though unmarked, I recognizedthis exampleas Heubach right away. This version was made in multiple sizes, but this miniature figurinemeasures amere 3 1/4\"long by just 2 1/4\" high. It is smallenough tofit nicely into the palm of one\'s hand! In this size it could be displayed within a larger scaled dollhouse vignette, or be used as an accessory for your overly indulged French fashion doll.
