A classic antique Minton plate, with some age related issues but very collectable and would display well.

Marks: Minton's "Globe" backstamp; Minton impressed mark; Impressed Date Mark for 1885.

Condition: The bowl is in fair condition.  The glaze is very good with an excellent strong pattern  There is age crazing which is to be expected, but this does not really show on the front.  There is a hairline crack on the rim and another two on the bowl, all about 40mm (1.5") and not very visible at all on the front.  Very few signs of wear.

Size: Diameter 265mm (103/8"). Depth 40mm ((11/2").
