This is an antique 8-7/8 inch plate marked Real Stone China in a ribbon under a crown, with the number 217 (one of the 7 available plates has 217T). The mark appears to have been used by Morley and then Ashworth around the time of their merger in 1859, but this plate is not marked with either name. It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks, but there is some wear to the gold trim as should be expected.
