Bought in Scotland 35 years ago, this wonderful case and clock just came back from cleaning and adjustment at a clock shop. It is an exceptional treasure and runs fine. LTD and on the bottom portion of the glass door the gold reverse lettering reads NATIONAL TIME RECORDER CO LTD AQUAINAS ST. STAMFORD ST. (PATENTEES) LONDON S.E.I. BLACKFRIARS LONDON SEThe finish looks to be original on this solid oak showpiece. Note in the picture the beautiful brass of the movement which is key driven by a solid brass key. Included also is the small key for opening the door. It is in remarkable condition for it's hundred plus years and stands 39 1/2" tallx 13 1/2" wide and 13" deep.
