This is an antique, brass, oil lamp burner with a slot for a single wick.The burner has the following patent dates imprinted on the wick turner knob: Oct. 16 1860 - July 21 1863 - Dec. 10 1867There are no maker's marks or signatures other than the info on the wick turner knob.Nice and clean, with just a few bits of tarnish here and there. No repairs, splits or cracks.There is a tiny ding to the top of the cone, seen best in the lower part of photo # 7.The top opens and closes smoothly, and the cover shuts firmly with no wiggling. The chimney screw works fine and the wick winder turns easily.The threaded part that screws into a collar measures 1 3/4" across. The height of the burner is approximately 2 1/2".
