You are viewing an original oil painting on stretched canvas from the 1940\'s signed by listed German artist Paul Fabri (1908-1995).
The signature is found on the very bottom right hand side (photo # 7) in red script.
An Impressionist he is known for his color rich landscapes and vibrant floral canvases.
Fabri studies in The State Academy of fine Arts in Berlin, and The School of Decorative Arts in Paris from 1928- 1931.

The attached tag (photo # 8) was from Garfinckel\'s; a prominent department store from Washington D.C. catering to an upscale clientele.
The original price of $40 would be equivalent to approximately $412 in 2017.
The painting framed measures 13 1/4 inches wide, by 25 1/4 inches in height, with some minor abrasions in this second matching floral painting of Fabri\'s (see close-up photos).
No tears, rips or repairs. Oil on stretched linen canvas ( photo #10).
