Antique Parlor Guitar 1930s Regal??:
Up for sale is an unknown maker Parlor Guitar. my feeling is that it is a Regal but not sure. The sides and back are solid maple. The back is two piece andhas nice looking tiger stripes that match looking through the sound hole. Yup, solid! The finish is sunburst,The top is solid spruce. The condition of the instrument is just beautifull. There are just a few very small nicks in the finnish but the rest of the finish is bright and shinesbeautifully Has a solid bone nut and saddle, The intonation is dead on and the action is very low with no buzzing, I'm thinking it was made in the early 1930s has the V-neck profile. Has Klusen deluxe tuners but i think they are 1950s,replacements.Frets are in great condition as is the fret board that is rose wood. No buzzing frets. This little guitar must have spent the last 70+ years in it's case i think because it's in just beautiful condition all around.has a metel slide for Hawian slide playing. The case is a little worn but has done it's job It's a very pretty little instrument. Strings are D,addario lights.
