On offer an extremely rare, antique and beautiful Passover cover from Germany. It belongs to the 1800's.

It is very richly ornamented with flowers and Hebrew words made of metallic (looks silver) threads and small colored rings on blue velvet background. It has been hand made.

There are three compartments for the three matzot,

The words on the cover constitute the blessing of the Matzah:

ברוך אתה יי א-להינו מלך העולם אשר קדשנו במצותיו וצוונו על אכילת מצה.

Used during the Passover ceremonies to cover the Seder dish.

It is a real treasure, an authentic antique selected Judaic item.

Size: 13.77/13.18 inch, 35/33.5 cm (approximative)

Condition: used, see pictures, wear ,wine stains into the compartments (not visible when closed), some letters around the cover have been repaired .
