Antique Jaff Kurd bag face, hand knotted wool on a wool foundation, Iran, ca. late 19thC, a beautiful example of Kurdish weaving, finer than most I see, and a great silky wool, I have given it a good soaking wet wash, and the \"hand\" is lovely, the colors are deep and saturated, the price is low because of condition issues, there is no wear or repair to the body of the rug, but the original selvage has been cut off and replaced, the ends and corners are a bit dog eared, the approximate size is 20 in x 21 in, #1504
