Knowles Taylor and Knowles.KT&K Semi-Vitreous Porcelain 8 piece serving set in a green daisy and purple violapattern.
It also has some gold decoration that has a very art deco feel.
From my research on the marks I believe this set was made pre 1920.
Knowles, Taylor & Knowles (KT&K) was a pottery company in East Liverpool, Ohio from 1854 to 1931.
The original owners were: Issac Knowles, John Taylor, (Issac\'s son-in-law) and Homer Knowles (Issac\'s son).
The pottery produced all types of wares from yellow ware, ironstone, and semi-vitreous dinnerware, but it is best known for the light-weight, translucent Lotus Ware.
The company merged with American Ceramic Corporation in 1928. It closed in 1934.Set includes:
1 Large Platter that measures 15\' long by 12 1/2\" wide
1 Serving Bowl that measures 10 1/8\" long by 7 5/8\" wide this piece has some crazing
1 Gravy Boat that measures 8\" long by 4 7/8\" wide
1 Small Tray 8 1/2\" long by 4 7/8\" wide
2 Tureens with Lids that measure 10 1/4\" by 4 1/2\" high
There is a small black blemish on one of the tureen covers that appears to be from the original kiln firing.
All pieces are in very good condition
