For sale isa great porcelain lidded pot de creme cup made by a Russian maker but I am not pinned it down yet. It dates to the early 19th century and is nicely hand painted with a landscape scene in the front, an orange beige ground color with a superb floral and leaf design to it and some gold trim. The handle shape is superb as is the finial. The cup displays perfectly with some minor wear to the gilding but it does have a V shaped crack as shown. Seems to be stable though so that at least helps. Very hard to spot except for a small gold line loss on the inside and if held at the perfect angle on the outside as I tried to show in the pictures. The cup is not marked which makes identification a bit tough but I\'ll figure it out eventually :) The cup with its lid is 4.25 inches tall and 2.75 inches in diameter.
