An antique, quail cuckoo clock, from the early 1900’s.
It has beautiful handmade carvings, very detailed inlaid, an amazingly rich dark brown beauty.
This clock is in great condition and this particular theme is quite a rare find!
The face trim is decorated with 4 large grape leafs, branches. and grape’s bunches, The top crest, follows the same motif with grape leafsbraches At the center of the crest there is an antique shape shield with a very large dear head and antlers.
The carving work in this clock is simply amazing and a joy for the eyes.
The dial in black/brown color has a diameter of 12 cm with real bone hands.
The clock movementis an “Early Harp” type that it was in use from 1865 to 1885. The movement and chains has been professional cleaned and serviced. The movement is in very good running condition.
The clock will strike and cuckoo every thirty minutes and at the hour. The quail will strike one time every fifteen minutes making a completely different sound, The sound of the gong is full and the cuckoo bird with come out of perch, bow, and itsounds well.

The clock comes sold with back door, pendulum and 3 weights
