Up for offer is a recent find from a large collection of Turquoise pieces acquired at sale, an Antique 1920's Art Deco RARE Natural #8 Mine Turquoise Sterling Silver & 10k Tricolor Yellow, Rose & Green Solid Gold Men's Ring. This Heavy 7.9 Gram (0.28 Ounce) Over 1/4 Ounce Antique 1920's Art Deco Solid Sterling Silver & 10k Tricolor Yellow, Rose & Green Solid Gold Ring is set with a Fantastic 10.5x8.5mm RARE Natural #8 Turquoise Gemstone. This #8 Mine Turquoise is of the HIGHEST QUALITY and has Beautiful Sky Blue Color with a golden/grey matrix. This is all natural Turquoise that is not color enhanced in any way and is guaranteed as such. The #8 Turquoise mine in Eureka County north of Carlin Nevada was discovered in 1925 and first mined in 1929 until its depletion. The mine was closed as a result of the discovery of gold in 1976 when the Newton Gold Company claimed the area. In its prime, the Number 8 mine produced some of the largest nuggets of turquoise ever found. This Turquoise is a Rectangular Domed Cabochon Cut. Cabochon refers to a gemstone that has been shaped and highly polished instead of being faceted. Aside from some natural surface crazing, this Turquoise is otherwise in PERFECT PRISTINE CONDITION free of any chips, nicks, cracks, or scratches. This is a Heavy and Substantial 7.3 Gram (0.26 Ounce) Over 1/4 Ounce Ring! This Solid Sterling Silver Setting has great 10k Solid Tricolor Yellow, Rose, & Green Leaf & Cluster Accents with Beautiful Classic 1920's Art Deco Architectural Details. Green Gold is a gold rarely and is a bright yellow with a very slight green tint. This classic 1920's Art Deco ring also has great Hand Milgrain details around the bezel. Milgrain edging looks so beautiful, appealing and interesting because the beaded pattern is able to make the edge resemble the edge of a coin. A specialized jeweler's hand tool is used to create interesting texture that is said to resemble tiny beading or embroidery. This ring is a Heavy and Substantial 7.9 grams (0.28 Ounces) Over 1/4 Ounce in Weight! This ring is fully hallmarked "Sterling 10k Gold Top" and tests as and is guaranteed to be Solid Sterling Silver with 10k Solid Gold accents. (Again this ring is guaranteed to be Solid Sterling Silver & Gold not plated or layered) The darker oil slick look in the side ridged details is the natural patina of the ring that only comes with age. We only lightly polished the ring and did not remove this patina. If you would like us to polish the ring further to remove this patina just let us know, it is no problem at all. Aside from some gold wear this ring is otherwise in GOOD CONDITION and will arrive ready to wear
This is an Original Antique 1920's Art Deco Men's Ring not a copy or reproduction.

Regarding Ring Sizing: Be wary of any online seller that offers sizing of a ring before it is shipped to you. Due to differences in measuring devices and the way certain types of rings fit these rings should only be sized in person by your local jeweler. Sizing by your local jeweler is relatively inexpensive and you will have a ring that properly fits your finger. All size 9 rings are not the same. The ring may fit on a mandrel and measure as a size 9 but the way the ring is made, the way the ring has been enlarged or reduced, and the finger type you have may make it fit like an 8 or 10 or worse. Have your sizing done in person for a proper fit.
offer with confidence we are a longtime seller with 1000's of positive responses. Our rings are CHECKED and CLEANED (unless otherwise stated) by our JEWELER so condition is not a problem
We make every effort to represent our rings accurately by listing the weight of our rings down to the tenth of a gram and dimensions to the mm. Please use these measurements to gauge heft and scale.
An explanation of the measurements in the "Ring Size & Measurements" section. Most of our photos are close-up to show detail so please read the ring size and measurements section for the size and scale of the ring. The tall measurement is the distance from the bottom or shank of the ring to the middle peak of the gemstone most easily measured when wearing the ring and placing the hand flat on the table and measuring the height of the ring from the table. The wide measurement is the width of the ring from outside to outside at the widest point when looking at the ring from the top. The rise from the finger measurement is the height of the ring from the finger to the peak of the gemstone when worn.
In the final photo the tick marks on the L-Square are 1 millimeter apart.
All of our photos are taken using DAYLIGHT BULBS with a color temperature of 5000k so the colors in the photos are extremely close to a true representation of the actual color of the rings and gemstones. We DO NOT retouch or Photoshop our photos.
