You are offerding on a very rare radio that would usually be found in a radio museum. It is a Clearfield Glass Case Radio TRF-6-RC. It is a 6 tube radio with a plate glass case and a wooden base, manufactured by Sherman Radio Company of New York Ca. 1925. This is a rare 6 tube battery radio. Radios that were built into cabinets made of glass served two purposes. First, for the radio parts dealer, it displayed what type of components were available and how they would look in a home-made radio. There were also instances where a special glass case was used for display of a radio company\'s model (used by dealers) that would show potential customers the internal construction of the particular model. It seems to be all complete I don\'t see any defects except on the inside top of the front plate glass directly over the 1st large knob there is a small flake which you can only see if you look down from the top. Radio measurements are approx. 30\" long, 11.5\" deep, and 8.25\" tall. The last picture I put was an article from the antique radio classified about this radio, that was about all I could find on it. The last photo of the radio shows the flake on the inside of the front glass with the top glass off. THIS IS THE ULTIMATE ADDITION TO ANY ANTIQUE RADIO COLLECTION.
