For your consideration we are offering for sale this Antique Mother of Pearl Beaded Necklace with Hand Carved Mother of Pearl Cross and Crown Pendant. The necklace measures 22\" inches in length. It appears the clasp is a replacement for what was originally the pendant because the barrel clasp gold tone metal does not match the silver wiring that separatesthe beading. No mother of pearl beads are the same and they have a gorgeous luster. The pendant is an absolutely gorgeous hand carvedcrown and cross.The Cross and Crown (a cross passing through a crown) is a Christian symbol appearing in many churches, particularly Roman Catholic. It has also been used in heraldry. The emblem is often interpreted as symbolizing the reward in heaven (the crown) coming after the trials in this life (the cross). The pendant measures 1 7/8\" inches in diameter. There are no marking, there is no breaks or cracks to the pendant or beads. It is a beautiful overall religious necklace.
