Antique Schumann Dresden Reticulated Plate Square Bavaria Germany Floral Bouquet

Offered here is an antique Schumann Co. Dresden style reticulated salad plate featured in the common floral bouquet pattern with gold accents. Plates like this one are quite colorful and aesthetically pleasing.

Christian Heinrich Schumann started a porcelain factory in 1881 which made pieces that resembled the Dresden style. Throughout the years the company did relatively well importing products to the US and other countries but eventually ceased production in 1994.

Measures 8” in Diameter x 1 1/8” High

Excellent condition! No cracks, chips or crazing.

Weighs pound 13.2 ounces (374 grams)

Marked “Royal Bavarian Dresdner Art, Schumann, Made in Bavaria” along with the lion and crown mark associated with the Carl Schumann Co. See photos.
