This Seth Thomas mantel clock is magnificant!! Adamantine veneer was developed by the Celluloid Manafcturing Company of New York City in 1880. Seth Thomas Clock Company purchased the exclusive right to utilize the Adamantine veneer in 1881 and used it from 1882 to 1917. This clock features a faux green and black markle tone with copper plated feet and lions head side ornaments. It also features intircate gold incised and faux onyx columns. This particular Seth Thomas Clock is 8-day, runs extremely well and and chimes on the hour and half hour. It's circa is 1905. It measures approximately 18" wide, 11" tall and 7" deep. It comes with the original Seth Thomas key that has the hole top that enables you to turn the S/F to make the clock run faster and slower. This is a one of a kind...a MUST for the colletor.
