Antique Seth Thomas GLOBE 8 Day Long Drop Octagon Wall Clock, C.1896

This is a Wondeful Old Seth Thomas GLOBE Long Drop Octagon Wall Clock. The case o this is oak and it has been refinished the wood grain is fantastic it quarter sawn oak. All the glass looks to be original it has bubbles with great swirls in the glass. The hand & pendulum are original the dial is also original but there is some finish loss. This clock does run but has stopped on me! it seems to run for about 30 minutes it may need to be very level ? I'm sure it could also use a good cleaning but I don't see any issues with the movement it looks complete and the gears look fine. Sadly because it does stop on me this is an as is sale it is for repair or parts. The clock case is solid and it is quite stunning!!!! It is about 31" tall it's 16" at widest point the dial is a 12" dial and it weighs 10.3 pounds. I also has key but I do not believe it is the original key. Thank you for your interest!!!!
