ANTIQUE ~ Silver plate WMF Figural SITTING DOGDouble Knife Rest. Made in Germany, circa 1920s by Wurttembergische Metallwarenfabrick, a world renown silversmith company known for its specialized silverplating technique and craftsmanship.
Knife rest is marked WMF on the cross bar with the \'O\' in horizontal diamond hallmark. Measures 3 3/8\" long with a 2 3/4\" bar. Dogs are 1\" tall x 3/4\" long x 1/4\" wide. Exceptionally Detailed!
Very Nice Vintage Condition with Great patina. It has no damage of any kind and has not been cleaned or polished. Was difficult to photograph, so have taken pics in different lighting...the first two pics are true to color. Please see all pics for Condition details.
