Antique Singer Sewing Machine, Manual Hand Crank 1906 28K without a manual and a few loose accessories, offered for sale at a 99p NR.

A very old and beautiful example of a classic 1906 Manual sewing machine. It’s really superb and not to be missed!!

It can be used as a decorative piece in your home or an economicalway of making clothing.

The sewing machine is finished in black enamel with beautiful gold decals which shows some wear and tear due to age, the bobbin winder has been replaced with a more modern replica frame, but the thread arm and wheel attached is original. It has an embossed patterned face and side plate;it is great for its age. There are also areas of wear and tear in the enamel on the hand crank with flaking enamel.

It sits on a wooden frame box with a large storage area underneath and a small compartment at the side for accessories with no cover, the base does show some wear and tear for its age with a damaged area around the small compartment on the wooden trim.

The machine comes with the original Singer casket lid with no key to lock shut. There is two handles one on each side for carrying, I would recommend carrying from underneath as very heavy. It has some wear and tear for its age, with areas ofscratches and scuffs. I have sanded, re-stained and vanished lid and base. The lid has an area of damage on the front with a piece ofthe wooden trim broken away and the top has been fixed down with small nail pins previously.

The machine is in working order ready for sewing, there is no manual and only a few loose accessorieswith this machine.

These machines are heavy; please carry from underneath and not with handle.

It has been thoroughly cleaned and serviced; I am a professional seamstress so have many years of experience working with electric and manual sewing machines.
