And the white stockings worn by children in the first decade of the 20th century, when the piece was made. Footsteps in the snow can be noted. The snowman wears a bucket hat and a carrot nose. The vase/planter section can accomodate leaves or a little plant or vine or flowers. 6 1/2" tall, and 5" wide.
