Antique religious Colonial painting on tin that probably belongs in a museum! Appears to be very old. So old, it is super fragile and the paint is chipping off. The metal is not entirely flat - see photos. Colors are pretty true to photos. Saint / Priest or important religious person in a dark blue robe holding a cross with his other hand outstretched. He looks upwards. There is a small cut in the tin at his belly. There is a white dog to his side. He is surrounded with a pinkish halo. This measures 9 14/16\" across the bottom / 9 7/8\" across the top, and the left side is 13 1/2\" / the right side is 14\" tall. There are small nail holes ( approx. 3 per side) around the perimeter.
