Antique Steam Locomotive Bell & Cradle 1800's Bronze/brass Low Reserve L@@k For Sale
This sale is for a Steam Locomotive Bell from the 1800's. This bell is either bronze or brass. We believe it to be brass. The cradle is made of cast iron and is painted green. The bell is in overall good condition with some pitting on the pendulum. (see pictures # 5 and 6) The arm used to swing the bell is broke off (see the right side of cradle in picture # 7). The pendulum swings good and rings as it should.
The Bell itself is 11" high. The inside diameter of the bell is 15". The height from bottem of cradle to top of cradle is 27".
This bell weighs approx 200 lbs so we are offering it for free local pickup. I will help arrange shipping on a freight truck if desired.
