This is an exquisite Sterling Silver liquor flask/bottle. This was an estate sale attic find that seemed to be untouched for many decades. The patina on this flask from age is quite beautiful and you can see the quality and craft design. It has engraving on the front and is stamped Sterling on the inner cap and bottom of flask. It has a mark # 0260 and says Wm Wise & Son on bottom. The cork lid is still intact ! and screws down perfect. There are 2 dings one on the screw top and one on the base. Some info on the silversmith; It was crafted in Brooklyn NY on Fulton St. by William Wise & Son. The company made high end products, many novelty items and jewelry. I found an ad from 1928 that was in the New York Sun about their products and date of business (1834). Total weight is 4.5 oz. and measures 4\" long and 2 1/4\" wide. This is truly a wonderful piece to own.
