19TH C. OVOID DOUBLE SIDE COBALT BLUE FLOWER CROCK
FRESH FROM AN OLDESTATE!19th Century Ovoid Stoneware Crock w/ applied Lug Handles & great Cobalt Blue Design Flowers on both sides. A Rare Piece of Stoneware, but does have some imperfections. You can refer to the pictures. The crock is unmarked and most likely dates to the earlier part of the 19th C. The crock measures 8" tall x 6 1/2" diameter across the top. There are 2 incised lines that follow through both wonderful cobalt blue designs on both sides through the flowers. The crock has a wonderful bulbous ovoid shape with 2 applied lug handles. A great rare crock that would make a wonderful addition to anyone's collection. The darker spot on the back above the hairline, is a repair. Sold as is
