This Norton Parrot is one of my personal favorites. This is an early piece from the Worcester, MA manufactory and dates between 1858-1877 (see Ketchum, p.52). Call it a Crock, Jar or Table Churn, this Keeper belongs in any Antique Stoneware Collection. Please see photos for complete details, close-ups and further description. Note that there is a light crazing, or spider lines, on the glaze surface, two stone pops (lower right), and two shallow chips on the inner rim; otherwise excellent. 2Gal. capacity; measures 9"W x 11-1/2"H overall.
