A wonderful estate item!This is a fantastic old antique store display or tabletop/countertop hardware store or saloon advertising lighter that has a figural design of a hanging oil lamp. The oil lamp has pierced tin metal shade that reads: \"Lillian Russell 5 cent cigar\". It sits atop a nickel plated oil lamp font with a ribbed top and an embossed floral scrollwork base with a scalloped accent around the ridge. The base is a silver cast iron that has two raised tubes that holds two applicators or \"lighters\" with ornate skeleton key like tips or ends.The front plate is missing as shown by the two holes which would have held another advertising sign of sorts.The \"oil lamp\" font is removable from the base as shown.
