1960's Retro Style BIG EYE Pity Kitty Cat

I am so pleased to BRING BACK my Pity Kitties !!!

6.5" size (my TiNY body with big head small snout & jowls) featuring all handtinted markings, Eyelids, Painted pupils with detailed eye rims, a little tail & whiskers too! --- Sooooo much detail on this little cutie ;)

A perfect piece to add to your TiNY collection too!

And of course, this cutie has a nice old antique, frumpy feel......and looks like an antique ToY cat......

He is wonderfully distressed to look like he came out of an old trunk in the attic but he is newly made by me and is my Original Copyright Design & Pattern.

He is made of hand dyed off white color mohairs and then aged and handtinted in soft grays, blacks & white markings. He has a big fat head with a tiny sculpted jowl that has been all handtinted.He has large black german glass eyes & backed in layers.....then handtinted in shades of yellow/green and black detailing. I even did a different technique and gave him eyelids. I also painted a small white dot for a pupil glare on each of his eyes. He has droopy sad ears handtinted and shaded inside. His nose is done in pink thread and then I applied my signature color wax technique for additional age & patina.I even gave him a few little thread whiskers too! He has no paw pads but are heavily aged for definition. And he has a little tail as well!

He wears simple aged vintage pink ribbon bow around his neck and a rusty chain with an antique skeleton key.

He really is such a cutie Patootie!!! A very charming sweetheart with tons of details !

He is loosely stuffed with woodwool, shot and gravel granulars and sand,for weight and texture. He is loosely 5-way hardware jointed.

He will come with my signed hang tag so you know that you are getting an Original Whimsical Whendi's Bear and not an imitation !

He is shown standing but cannot stand alone without help.

As with all my work, including clothing & accessories, it is for the Adult Collector only and not intended for children.

This sale is for the Pity Kitty Cat only.He would look fabulous displayed in a vintage cabinet or tabletop with your other antique toys & vintage collections!
