When I got this old sword it wasgrungy andrusty,withtheonly description being:\"as is.\" I cleaned the grime, wipedtheblade withWD-40, and nowhere it is for sale: \"as is, phase 2.\"Condition is well shown in the photos. Hilt is solid brass. Sharpened blade has surface rust throughout (no heavy pitting) which would probablypolish out. Leather blade buffer is in fine shape. Overall length 29.5\" (75cm), blade 24.5\" (62cm), weight 2.2 lbs (1.0kg).NOTE: This swordis listed as French Napoleonic because that\'s what it looks like to me, butI have no idea how old it is. The blade (entire sword?) was made in India and from what I\'ve learned, 17-18th century Indian blades rivaledGerman blades (See Matt Easton\'s YouTube video \"Indianswords and German blades\").
