Herewe have a BEAUTIFUL antique 1800\'s Victorian Germany chocolate set! It consists of aGORGEOUS chocolate pot and 6 matching cups and saucers! 11 Pieces in all! GORGEOUS HEAVILY GILDED with WONDERFULFLEUR\'DI LIdesigns around the cup and saucer rims and the top side and lid too! ORNATE SPOUT! The handle is justWONDERFUL and is VERY ORNATELY DESIGNED! Each piece is stamped\"Germany\" and the cups are impressed with 1273\". The chocolatepot measures 7 1/2\" to the top of the lid finial, 6 1/4\" spout tohandle and 3 1/4\" wide. the cups measure 2 5/8\"tall, 2 1/2\" rimto handle and 2\" diameter. Thesaucers are 1/2\" tall and 3 7/8\" in diameter. Really good condition with no cracks and justone really small chip (3/8\" by 1/4\") on the side of the rim of one cup but the cup is perfectly usable (please see last photo for it). Also very difficult to see as it is in the white color of the cup rim. Some of the gold or gilding that is the fleur\' di li seems a bit lighter in some areas around the rims of some of the saucers and just a bit lighter in a few spots on the rims of the cups. The top, lid and sides of the pot have just a bit that is lighter in the way of the fleur\' di li than the rest but not very noticeable. Little gilding missing on one place on the handle (please see 2nd to last photo for it) and a little here and there in the ribbed pattern but not bad. One tiny raised dot on the teapot in the gold. the photo with the entire set looks like the lid and pot are washed out because the reflection of a skylight that is above. It is fine and you can see close ups of it in the other photos. What aBEAUTIFUL set to grace your home! bk shd
