Here is a beautiful antique oil on canvas painting framed in its original Aesthetic era picture frame.The frame has the original paint of beige and gold. The painting depicts a young girl with blonde hair surrounded by pink roses. This looks like a good Sunday artist hobbyist painting that was taken after a famous antique print from the 1800s. The entire piece measures 17 1/2 x 24 ins. and the canvas alone measures 13 x 19 ins. It is in good as is vintage condition with only some minor chips to the compo on the frame and not anything really on the canvas. I would date this item to the 1880s time period. the frame is very heavy and solid.
A beautiful addition for authentic Victorian,Edwardian, and late 1800s decors.
