Antique (Victorian, 19th century) paper punch motto, yard-long format.. \"Forget Me Not\". Wonderful colors, rarely found in mottos of this period. Original lemon gilt wood and gesso frame, with incised decorations in the corners. The outside dimensions are apx 23 1/2\" X 10 1/2\". All original condition, including wavy glass, and wood slat backing. Please note there are light water spots on the bottom of the motto, and very minor wear to the finish on the frame (see close-ups) ~ otherwise very good, well-preserved condition.
