This is a very unique Victorian gold brooch! Currently, it is missing a small seed pearl at the top, but that is very easily replaceable. There are no markings but the brooch tests and is guaranteed to be 15k gold, which is right for the time period. I would think the horseshoe design is pretty uncommon.
