A rare & fine quality mid Victorian 15ct Gold Almandine Garnet & Seed Pearl set ring, which is set with three Almandine Garnets & two natural Pearls in claw settings(please study the detailed close-up photographs provided, which form an integral part of theitem\'s description).
As expected with a ring of this quality itis fully hallmarked confirming that it is made from solid 15ct Gold and that it was assayed in Birmingham in 1875.This fabulous ring looks stunning when worn; with it\'s beautifully scroll engraved shoulders and original engraved band it is sure to attract many admiring glances.
Overall the ring is in great condition with only some wear evident to some of the claws holding the stones (one is missing), but all of the stones are secure. One of the Garnets has been replaced at some time historically, but as shown, this is still a sublimely beautiful Victorian ring. The hallmark is part obscured probably due the the band havng been re-sized at some time in the last 140 years, but the date letter is clear.
