A fine example of a 15ct gold Victorian Pearl set Locket Brooch, which has a diameter of approx\' 28mm and weighs 5.7 grams. As was normal for this period the brooch is unmarked but it has been tested and is guaranteed to be at least 15ct Gold(please see the detailed close-upphotographs provided, which form an integral part of the item\'s description).

The brooch is in great antique condition and has an embossed Etruscan decoration and it is ball decorated around the edge with a beautiful Peral set star as the focal point. It appears to have its original \'C\' clasp and hinge, but the base metal pin is undoubtedly a historic replacement (pins were susceptible to bending and breakage and were often replaced), however it works well.
