Beautiful antique, vintage Victorian frame for old antique cabinet photo. Inside could be placed larger photo 10\" by 7\" or smaller with paspartu. Including decorative frame it measures, 10\" by 14\". Frame is made of cast brass metal, than gilded. Standing picture frame. It has long easel on the back, that is in a good condition. No loose parts. It is antique frame, please do not expect it to be shiny brass. Gilt over bras is patina-ted over period of time, on some spots still have gold color, but mostly it is darker with green oxidation on some areas. I am not sure in which style it is made, Rococo or Art Nouveau or ??? Cast lace, flower design is amassing. Some metal edges - points- are little bend, but it is a common for this kind of older metal artwork. Probably made in USA. All six picture holders on the back are on their places. I placed inside kind of the modern picture, so you can imagine how it will look with photo. Also, instead of picture, mirror could be placed or someone\'s antique portret. Excellent piece to frame your dearest grandparents, ancestor. Feel free to ask any additional information.
