This gorgeous antique bracelet was made with highly-prized saphiret stones.

Although saphiret glass was later created by modern-day manufacturers for use in costume jewelry up to the mid-century, original saphiret glass was made in Gablonz and production ended after the turn of the 20th century.
This antique bracelet with nine oval cabochons of frosted saphiret glass are prong-set into a brass or brass-colored metal setting. The bracelet closes by hook and chain.
Saphiret glass is mesmerizing!
Condition: Excellent, some dark marks around some of the sides near the base of the stones, which do not detract but are mentioned for accuracy, tiny eye bolt with unknown purpose attached to last link of bracelet
Approximate measurements: Wearing length is somewhat adjustable but total length is 7 15/16\", 9/16\" wide
