Antique Victorian Edwardian Sterling Silver Scottish Agate Granite Brooch Pin:
This is a beautiful Edwardian antique sterling silver HM 1907 Scottish granite brooch.I have collected agates in Scotland for over 20 years and know where most of the lovely gemstones that Victorians used for their classic jewellery were found.
The beautiful stones are pink Kemney granite and grey Aberdeen granite. A really lovely north east of Scotland combination!
The brooch has a set of faded hallmarks with makers W.J, the lion for sterling silver, the anchor for Birmingham assay office and date letter h for 1907.The length is 3.3 cm and the pin and C clasp are in good working condition although the pin is not original.
