Up for offer is a recent Estate sale find, an Antique c1900 Victorian RARE Hand Etched Natural Bloodstone 10k Solid Yellow Gold Hand Engraved Men's Ring in EXCEPTIONAL CONDITION! This Original Antique c1900 Victorian 10k Solid Yellow Gold ring is set with a Fantastic 14x10mm Natural Bloodstone that has been Hand Engraved with the Masonic Square & Compass. The Masonic Compass & Square Symbol has been Hand Engraved/Etched into the Bloodstone and 24k gold applied into the engraving. This all natural Bloodstone also known as heliotrope has Blood Red Drops in the dark green almost black background. Bloodstone Masonic Ring are rare because most are common Onyx or lab created ruby or sapphire. This Bloodstone is an Elongated Oval Flat Cabochon Cut with Beautifully Beveled Edges. Cabochon refers to a gemstone that has been shaped and highly polished instead of being faceted. This Bloodstone is all natural and has not been color enhanced in any way and is guaranteed as such. The waves on the bloodstone in the photos are not blemishes but shadows and reflections because the polished surface is difficult to photograph. The Luster on this Bloodstone is Very Nice! This bloodstone gemstone is held securely by top and bottom half bezel setting. This Classic Victorian Ring has beautiful Hand Engraved Acanthus Floral details on the shoulders of the setting. The rise from the finger measurement is the height of the ring from the finger to the peak of the gemstone when worn.
