You are viewing an antique oil painting on canvas. I would estimate that it is over 100 years old. It is framed by a more modern attractive gilt wood frame. The landscape scene contains two cottages, two children, a dog and a woman. It is signed lower right, \"J. G. Raven\". The frame measures approximately 16 inches by 18 1/2 inches. The stretcher measures approximately 10 by 12 inches. Both canvas and frame are in good condition with a minor chip on the frame (please see photos). It is possible the painting was restored at some point, but I don\'t have access to a black light. Otherwise minor wear and tear from time. Feel free to ask any questions.
