Beautifully designed album with a nymph designed in Celluloid on the cover, she is surrounded by flowers, and celluloid is trimmed in some scrolly metal, it could be silver, but I am no expert. The spine is covered in print velvet and is in good shape, as is the back, which shows very little wear. The front could use a good cleaning. the clasp is intact and working, it is silver colored also, but the back looks newer and maybe was replaced over the years.Inside there is an inscription as this was a Christmas present to Miss Ethel Smith from Mr.Watson Mellery, December 23, 1898. The handwriting is still dark and readable. The paper picture holders are in fair shape, a few of them are ripped and torn, the paper has discolored over the years, the pages are decorated with pretty blue flowers. Holds both Cabinet Cards and CDV/tintypes, measures 10x8" and is 2" thick, sold as is, no photos included,Contact me with any questions, no international shipping.
