This is a very old shieldshaped brooch with the traditional Scottish Cairngorm. The back of the broochhas a c-clasp and tube hinge from the mid to late 1800s, and there is a gold tone pendantloop that was later soldered on the top of the back so it can be worn as apendant.

It measures just short of 2”tall and is 1 ¼” wide. The stones are glass and the blue white and red areasare wax. The metal is silver toned, but is not marked as to content or maker. It is in good antique condition with signs of age. Please see the photos for condition details.
