Antique Victorian? Silver Plated? 4-Flute Epergne on Tray with 3Bun Feet

There is a good set of hallmarks on the base which are hard to read but the makers looks to beP & Co with an S under the & - all withina shield. To the left of this, within a rectangle with corners cut off, is a possiblelower case m. Then another mark to the left as well as two marks to the right of the shield, all being too difficult to decipher. (see photos) Raoul

Max. height approx. 40cm (16")

The larger central flute is 25cm high (10") with a diameter of 16cm (6.5")

The 3 smaller flutes are each 17.5cm high (7") each with a diameter of12.5cm (5")

The base has a diameter of 20cm (8")

Weight 1.5kg

In goodcondition. Minor marks, evidence of rubbing and scratches generally. Some small area of repair - one of the silver cups at base of a flute has been replaced, shown in photo 6.
