Up for sale is this beautiful English sterling silver fusee pocket watch.

This is a lovely watch but does have some issues. The case has dents and scratches throughout and also the back doesn\'t seem to close properly. Could be an easy fix as I haven\'t tried fixing

The face is in very good condition with lovely blued hands and a gilted second hand.

The case is fully hallmarked for Birmingham sterling silver. The crystal is present and is in good condition apart from some scratches that could be polished out.

The movement, signed MP Stoodley of Alton does work but it does have a tendency to stop, I\'m not sure of the issue as the balance swings fine but the watch will tick for a few seconds then stop so I\'d image it needs a service. The cock is nicely engraved and the gemstone looks very nice.
