Photos show everything. I realize that my photos are not exactly easy to see what you are getting. I will do my best to describe it for you, but PLEASE ask questions if you have them and I will do my best to answer them. This is a barn find, so it is a bit dirty, and it is rusty, as you can probably see in the photos. It is extremely heavy, and EXTREMELY DECORATIVE! I see the word \"horse\" in the titles of similar listings, not sure what it means, but I put it in there, for that reason. THE LAST PHOTO SHOWS A PATENT DATE OF OCT. 31, 1876, making it over 140 years old. Post Civil War. Photo 7 shows some wiring, perhaps repaired or perhaps reinforced. Not sure. Photo 8 shows one of 3 wheels/pulleys for the chains to move through. ALL 3 TURN FREELY. The chain flows through it, as well. The chain is original, and I THINK complete. I could be wrong, but I don\'t think I am. It may or may not be brittle, I am not sure how strong it is. The chain will be tangled up, probably, when you get it and will require some work on your part. I had it untangled but it tangles very easily. I detached the bottom piece from the chains. I AM ASSUMING, IF YOU ARE LOOKING AT THIS, THAT YOU KNOW WHAT THIS IS AND ARE ABLE TO WORK IT TOGETHER AND REFURBISH IT. PLEASE UNDERSTAND THIS. I probably could go on and on, and I realize, too, that if I had better photos, it would make this more valuable. It is missing the piece that holds the hurricane/oil part, as you see. I still think this is an awesome antique lamp, probably for parts/repair. Photos show the true condition, mostly. Please look closely and ask any questions you may have.
