The brooch is a large oval shape with a raised cattail design and applied ornate filigree on both sides of the stone. The large faceted oval Amethyst cabochon is bezel set and measures 25 mm by 15 mm. This sash pin is fitted with a hinge pin and simple C clasp. The brooch measures a large size of 2 3/8\" by 1 7/8\".
The metal is Brass or Bronze with a Gold Plate and has not been cleaned or polished. A truly lovey antique brooch to wear or add to any collection.
