This is a great looking antique or vintage Biedermeier maple and burl wood pipe.

I am uncertain as to how old it is, but it definitely has very good age.

It measures 16 inches long (40.6 cm).

I’m not quite sure why this pipe was made this way, as opposed to a shorter pipe. But I must say, it just has a beautiful look about it.

It has a couple of small issues. The black ball and piece of wood just above it at the end of the long piece is a little curved. The cup section, when fully tightened, ends up a little crooked compare to the long stem. It’s not really that big a deal though. The mouthpiece looks like it was bit on a tad, but it’s nothing major.

It weighs just a little under 2 ounces (50 g).
