The History

The Piece
This unique, decorative Chinese vase displays an array of beautiful stones, including Red Coral, Chinese Turquoise, Lapis and Nephrite Jade. The Jade runs in panels around two different portions of the statue and is a gorgeous dark green color with a visible black matrix.
There are 100 deep red coral accent stones, most are round cabochon, except for three oval cabochons in the center of the vase.
There are 46 round, cabochon cut Chinese turquoise stones that display a light blue-green hue.
To complete the design, there are 40 dark blue lapis lazuli stones. The different types of stones are arranged in linear formation based on their type. As mentioned above, there is one turquoise stone missing from the vase.
The vase is comprised of solid Sterling Silver and is marked as such. The creator of this masterpiece used gorgeous filigree designs throughout the vase, along with rope twist borders, granulated bead accents, and high relief applied silver designs. The piece is finished at the top with a crystal bead that is capped with a unique silver design on the top.

The vase measures 10\" tall by 3.5\" wide. The round stones range anywhere from 3 mm to 5 mm in diameter. The Red Coral oval stones measure 9 mm by 4 mm.The piece weighs 453.8 grams.
