Antique Vintage Grace Corry "little Brother" Composition Doll, 14" Tall For Sale
Listed this week is a 1927, Composition Little Brother Doll, made by Grace Corry for the Averill Doll Company. He comes with his original, unmarked outfit, including a white cotton shirt and wool navy blue short. His eyes and hair are brown and he has antique shoes and new socks.She is marked with a Circle C and Grace Corry on the back of his shoulder plate. He is jointed at the shoulders and hips, with composition arms and legs, attached to a cloth body and stands 14" Tall.He is absolutely gorgeous. All pictures are taken outside, in natural light. He has a brand new momma crier, imported from Germany, so he cries momma, when he is turned over. Head, neck plate, arms and legs are composition and all original , along with his cloth body. He has been restored to as close to his original state as possible. I tried to preserve as much as possible, so he may have slight imperfections here and there. I do not like to swap out parts and will do my very best to repair , saving as much of the original doll as possible. He is hard to find and highly collectable. His little friend, Petite Sally will be listed in a different sale and is sold paints removed, filled and repainted.
